2005: Started all 11 games for the Blue Raiders at defensive tackle and went on to earn second team all-conference honors ... Accomplished a rare feat by winning all-league honors in back-to-back seasons as an offensive lineman then a defensive lineman ... Finished second on the team and first among linemen with 53 total tackles ... Also had 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack ... Shared team's Thunderbolt award (toughness) following spring drills ... In his first game on the defensive line, Staton tallied eight tackles against Alabama and followed that up with five stops against North Texas ... Had four tackles and a quarterback hurry in win at Vanderbilt ... Came up with seven tackles, including two for loss of yards and a sack against FAU ... Registered five tackles to go with a tackle for loss against ULL ... Also had five stops in win over Arkansas State ... Tallied five tackles and a tackle for loss against Louisiana-Monroe ... Collected four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss at NC State ... Had three stops at Troy ... Credited with five tackles and a quarterback hurry at FIU.

2004: Voted Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference ... Started all 11 games at left guard for the Blue Raiders ... Was third among linemen with 778 snaps played while leading the Blue Raiders with 128.5 knockdowns ... His cumulative grade of 82 percent was tops among the starting unit ... Registered seven double-digit knockdown games during the season and had six games with a grade of 84 percent or better ... Had perhaps his best game in win over Louisiana-Monroe with a career-high 79 snaps, a personal-best 20.5 knockdowns, and a grade of 84 percent ... Added 13.5 knockdowns in games against Louisiana-Lafayette, Idaho, and Troy ... Also had 13 knockdowns in season opening win at Akron ... Earned a season-best grade of 88 percent in the win against Idaho.

ETSU: Was one of three players to start all 12 games on an offensive line that suffered several injuries ... Named second team all-Southern Conference by members of the media while also making the Southern Conference's coaches team ... As a freshman in 2002, he played in seven games, starting four at offensive tackle ... Started consecutive games at The Citadel, against Elon and against Furman.

High School: Graded out at 90 percent as an offensive lineman ... Recorded 26 pancake blocks ... Named all-state, all-region and all-city in Class AA ... Finalist for Mr. Football ... Selected to play in the Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star game ... Made 131 tackles with 17 sacks on defense.
