Finished second on the team and first among linemen with 53 total tackles ... Also had 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack ... Shared team's Thunderbolt award (toughness) following spring drills ... In his first game on the defensive line, Staton tallied eight tackles against Alabama and followed that up with five stops against North Texas ... Had four tackles and a quarterback hurry in win at Vanderbilt ... Came up with seven tackles, including two for loss of yards and a sack against FAU ...
