2006: Played in 48 games and started 40 ... Hampered by an injury in the latter part of the year but came back strong to finish out the season ... Played first base and also made 18 appearances on the mound and started nine ... Picked up her first win on the mound when she came into the game in relief against Troy and tossed a season-high 10 innings, helping Middle Tennessee win the extra inning affair 8-6 ... Floyd's second conference win came in a crucial victory at Florida International ... Had a .198 batting average with four doubles and six RBI ... Led the team with 12 sacrifice hits.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Gordon Lee High School ... Floyd was an integral part of Gordon Lee High School's state championship, tossing every game in the Georgia state tournament ... She culminated her team's championship with a two-hit shutout against Brookstone in the title game ... The Chickamauga, Ga., school posted a 25-10 record, and Floyd did not allow a run in the final three games of the state tournament ... Voted All-State in 2003, 2004 and 2005 ... All-State Pitcher of the Year in 2004 ... Best of Preps First Team for three consecutive years.
