2009: Played in seven games and had 107 total snaps including a season-best 33 against WKU ... Earned three winning grades on special teams from the coaches ... Finished the year with six tackles, a TFL, and a forced fumble ... Collected a stop in seven special teams snaps against Memphis ... Also had one tackle at North Texas ... Had two stops at Troy ... Was in on 22 snaps against Mississippi State and all 22 were on special teams ... Forced a fumble in win over WKU ... Tackled the FAU punter for a nine-yard loss on special teams ... Suffered a knee injury against FAU and was lost for the season.

High School: A two-star recruit by Rivals.com ... Earned all-state (5A) and all-region honors in leading Ooltewah to a 11-2 record his senior year ... As a senior he had 53 tackles and led the team with six interceptions and 27 pass breakups ... Also had two tackles for loss and a forced fumble ... Added three receptions on offense ... High School: As a senior at Hazelhurst he hauled in 23 receptions for 498 yards, including 7 touchdowns in helping the Indians to a record of 8-4 and a 3A playoff appearance ...
