Shared the team's Best Attitude award with three others following spring drills ... Collected three tackles each against Akron and Vanderbilt ... Registered the team's lone sack in the win over the Commodores ... Had a fumble recovery in win over FAU ... Came away with five tackles (four solos) and earned the start against ULL ... Enjoyed a strong game in win over Arkansas State by collecting three tackles, a quarterback sack, and a blocked punt (second blocked kick of career) ... Had two stops against Louisiana-Monroe and only one tackle at NC State ... Came up with the third blocked kick of his career when he rejected a punt at Troy to go along with two tackles ... Credited with three tackles at FIU.

2004: Earned the defense's Most Improved award during 2004 spring drills ... Started nine of 11 contests, registering 36 total stops including four for loss and three sacks ... Also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, and blocked one kick ... Drew start in opener at Akron, registering three tackles and forcing a fumble ... Again collected three tackles and blocked the team's second field goal in two weeks versus Florida Atlantic ... Made six solo tackles at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Collected four tackles versus Arkansas State and four solo stops, one for loss, at Florida ... Had 0.5 tackles for loss against both Idaho and Utah State and a sack versus USU ... Recovered a fumble and collected four tackles at New Mexico State ... Recorded three solo stops including two sacks versus Louisiana-Monroe ... Had four tackles in finale at Troy.

2003: Took a redshirt year.

High School: The Savannah Morning News Defensive Player of the Year led Screven County to a 15-0 record his senior year and a Class AAA state championship (first state title in 71 years) ... Selected first team All-State for Coach Mark Daniel's team ... Finished his senior year with 129 tackles, including 11 for loss of yards ... Team went 12-1 his junior year ... Had 333 tackles during his entire prep career ... Lettered in football and wrestling.
