2006: Started all 13 games at defensive end ... Had a career-best 40 tackles to go along with 9.5 tackles for loss and two sacks on the season ... Also led the team with four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries ... Enjoyed a solid spring where he earned the starting job at defensive end ... Led the Blue team with eight tackles and three quarterback sacks in the Blue-White Spring Game ... Played 49 snaps (39 offense, 10 special teams) in win over FIU and collected one tackle in earning a "winning performance" by the coaching staff ... Had two tackles at Maryland ... Registered three stops against Tennessee Tech while earning a "winning performance" ... Coaches tabbed him with a "winning performance" at Oklahoma after he tallied five tackles in 34 plays ... Had three tackles, a tackle for loss, and a sack in the Blue Raiders' shutout win over North Texas to earn a "winning performance" ... Had three stops against Louisville ... Had three tackles at Louisiana-Monroe and earned a "winning performance" ... Registered a tackle and a forced fumble against Louisiana-Lafayette ... Also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, and blocked one kick ... Drew start in opener at Akron, registering three tackles and forcing a fumble ... Again collected three tackles and blocked the team's second field goal in two weeks versus Florida Atlantic ... Made six solo tackles at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Collected four tackles versus Arkansas State and four solo stops, one for loss, at Florida ... Had 0.5 tackles for loss against both Idaho and Utah State and a sack versus USU ... High School: The Savannah Morning News Defensive Player of the Year led Screven County to a 15-0 record his senior year and a Class AAA state championship (first state title in 71 years) ... Selected first team all-state for Coach Mark Daniel's team ... Finished his senior year with 129 tackles, including 11 for loss of yards ... Team went 12-1 his junior year ... Had 333 tackles during his entire prep career ... Lettered in football and wrestling.
