2012: Played in 12 games and had one start … Finished with a career-best 33 tackles, including 2.0 TFLs, a forced fumble, a blocked kick and a pass breakup … Led team with nine special teams tackles … Was in on 420 total snaps, including a season-best 59 at FIU … Had five stops in win at Memphis, including four solos … Added two solo tackles at Georgia Tech … Earned his first career start at FIU and responded with four stops, a pass breakup, and a blocked field goal … Collected a TFL at Mississippi State … Had four tackles vs. North Texas … Turned in three tackles and a forced fumble at WKU … Shared team lead with seven stops, including a TFL against ASU.

Was first team all-region and all-county his senior year while being tabbed the team's most valuable defensive player ... Registered 142 tackles (a school record) as a senior to go with four sacks and five blocked punts ... High School: As a senior at Hazelhurst he hauled in 23 receptions for 498 yards, including 7 touchdowns in helping the Indians to a record of 8-4 and a 3A playoff appearance ...
