2003 (Sophomore): Lefthanded starter who made team-leading 15 starts, posting 7-4 record with 4.75 ERA ... Also tossed team-best 89.0 innings, striking out 65 against just 17 walks ... Had one complete game ... Began the year working on Saturday but assumed the Friday starter role a month into the season ... Tied for fourth in the SBC in starts ... Allowed only 1.72 walks per nine innings ... Worked all seven innings in first game of doubleheader to get win against Jacksonville State, allowing two runs on three hits with four strikeouts ... Gave up three runs, one earned, on eight hits in 5.2 innings versus Rutgers ... Allowed eight runs on nine hits in 4.2 innings at Southwest Missouri State, taking the loss ... Struck out eight in getting win against Purdue, allowing three runs on seven hits in seven innings ... Defeated New Mexico State in conference opener, giving up four runs on six hits with eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings ... Gave up three runs on five hits in 7.1 innings, striking out six at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Allowed seven runs on 10 hits in 4.2 innings against Florida International, striking out four in taking second loss ... Got his fourth win of the season in series-opener at Arkansas State, working seven-plus innings and allowing two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts ... Defeated South Alabama in series-opener for fifth victory of the year, working six-plus innings and giving up three runs on five hits ... Had his worst outing of the year at Western Kentucky, lasting just 3.2 innings and allowing four runs on eight hits ... Tossed 7.1 innings versus New Orleans, getting no decision in allowing two runs on seven hits with six strikeouts ... Recorded his seventh quality start of the year in game one of doubleheader against Lipscomb, allowing three runs, two earned, in seven innings with three strikeouts ... Worked one inning on Friday before the rains came at Arkansas-Little Rock and four more scoreless innings on Sunday, allowing four hits with two strikeouts ... Came back to throw more than 120 pitches on Wednesday against Louisiana-Lafayette at SBC Tournament, defeating the Cajuns while allowing four runs on nine hits in eight-plus innings with five strikeouts ... Had by far his worst start of the year in Starkville Regional, working two-plus innings against Mississippi State to take the loss ... Allowed eight hits and five runs, four earned, with two walks and two strikeouts.

2001 (Freshman): Tossed 29.1 innings with two starts, striking out 28 with only 10 walks ... Righties batted just .151 against and batters hit just .161 with two outs ... Used almost exclusively out of the bullpen, tossing 20.2 innings in first 14 appearances and allowing just two runs on nine hits with 21 strikeouts and just five walks ... Pitched two scoreless innings versus New Orleans, and 2.2 scoreless frames at Memphis with three strikeouts ... Tossed two scoreless innings against both Vanderbilt and Florida International, striking out three versus FIU ... Got four outs, two on strikeouts, at Arkansas-Little Rock ... Struck out five in first start of year, versus Cumberland, tossing four shutout innings ... Went five innings at Vanderbilt in second start, striking out five ... Played for Bethesda Big Train in Clark Griffith League over summer, posting 1.20 ERA, second lowest in the league.

High School: Lettered four years at Oakland HS for coach Mack Hawks ... Member of back-to-back state championship teams at OHS as junior and senior ... Posted 8-1 mark and allowed just three walks as senior ... Also lettered three years in golf and was member of state title team as senior.
