To begin the season, recorded four hits one RBI and scored five runs against Jacksonville State ... Against Toledo was 1 for 3 scoring two runs ... Batted .286 with five doubles, six RBIs and 15 runs scored ... Also walked five times and stole a pair of bases ... All 11 starts came March 11-27 after an injury to Matt Ray ... Walked and scored twice off the bench at Belmont ... Collected pair of hits, including a double, with a walk, three runs scored and three RBIs in first start of the year, Sunday at Troy ... Went 3-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and one RBI versus Southern Illinois ... Scored twice on Saturday and had pair of hits on Sunday against Louisiana-Lafayette ... HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for coach Jason Rice at Rossview HS ... Three-year All-Area selection and All-District as senior ... Named Second Team All-Midstate by the Tennessean after batting .472 with 25 runs scored, three home runs, 15 RBIs, 17 walks, 13 hit pitches and 18 stolen bases as senior ...
