Fall: Battled recurring knee injury through fall, playing valiantly to post 7-4 record ... Split a pair of decisions at Seminole Fall Classic ... Won three straight matches in prequalifying at All-American Championships, including a three-set decision over Ohio State's Joey Atas, before falling in Round of 32 ... Picked up three consecutive straight set decisions at Beau Holton Memorial Invitational before falling in three sets in semifinals ... Posted seven doubles victories, six with senior Kirk Jackson ... Jackson and Short alternated two wins and a loss in their nine matches, winning twice each at Seminole Fall Classic, Region III Championships and Beau Holton Memorial Invitational.

Spring: Senior who continued career-long battle with injuries during final campaign, posting 14-17 overall singles record and 16-14 doubles mark ... Won nine of 20 doubles dual matches, teaming mostly with fellow Kirk Jackson ... Began spring ranked 30th nationally in doubles with Jackson ... Won just one of first six doubles matches, playing at No. 1 ... Posted 7-5 mark the rest of the way, playing all but one match at No. 2 ... Lost tilts to Alabama's 32nd-ranked Stephen Mitchell and Chris Gostek, as well as No. 34 Claes Lindholm and Eric Claesson of Ole Miss ... Fall: Lost to Rameez Junaid of Auburn at Country Club of Mobile Invitational to start fall ... Won one of three at Charles Fluitt Invitational, defeating Eastern Kentucky's Lee Lester ... Dropped decision to Winthrop's Adam Narczewski in prequalifying at All-American Championships ... Defeated Matias Marin and Karim Alaily of Baylor with Michael Staniak at Mobile Invite before losing to Alabama's Stephen Mitchell and Chris Gostek ... Won 8-5 over Lamar's John Guerrero and Jakob Paulsen in prequalifying at All-American Championships before losing to Chattanooga's Jason Ontog and Tim Kutshera.

Spring: Fought knee and wrist ailments all season, sitting out much of indoor schedule and playing mostly doubles upon his return ... Played just eight singles matches all season, posting 2-6 mark with wins over Nathan Forster of Charleston Southern and Georgia State's Chris Magnone ... Played No. 6 singles the final five matches of the year ... Recorded 11 doubles victories in 18 matches with Michael Staniak, playing almost exclusively at No. 3 ... Fall: Recorded three victories, including semifinal appearance at MT Fall Invitational ... Reached quarterfinals at Omni Hotels Region III Championships with Michael Staniak in doubles, including win over seventh-ranked teammates Oliver Foreman and Robert Gustafsson.

Spring: Won six singles matches during spring and finished academic year with nine singles wins ... Also ended year with a dozen doubles victories, including eight in dual matches ... Began spring ranked 51st in doubles with Staniak ... Battled injuries to his right wrist and knee throughout the year.

Fall: In first collegiate tournament, won MT Fall Invitational doubles title with Mark Pellerin ... Primarily played doubles as he recovered from knee surgery ... Played in just two tournaments in singles, posting 5-2 mark, including semifinal appearance at Chattanooga Fall Classic.

Spring: Had seven wins in singles in spring, including two straight in Sun Belt Tournament in Mobile, Ala. ... Posted nine wins in doubles play, six with Pellerin.
