Lost to Rameez Junaid of Auburn at Country Club of Mobile Invitational (9/1) to start fall ... Won one of three at Charles Fluitt Invitational (9/28), defeating Eastern Kentucky's Lee Lester ... Dropped decision to Winthrop's Adam Narczewski in prequalifying at All-American Championships (10/4) ... Defeated Matias Marin and Karim Alaily of Baylor with Michael Staniak at Mobile Invite before losing to Alabama's Stephen Mitchell and Chris Gostek ... Won 8-5 over Lamar's John Guerrero and Jakob Paulsen in prequalifying at All-American Championships before dropping decision to Chattanooga's Jason Ontog and Tim Kutshera.

2001-02 (Sophomore)
Fall
Recorded three victories, including semifinal appearance at MT Fall Invitational ... Reached quarterfinals at Omni Hotels Region III Championships with Michael Staniak in doubles, including win over seventh-ranked teammates Oliver Foreman and Robert Gustafsson.

Spring
Won six singles matches during spring and finished academic year with nine singles wins ... Also ended year with a dozen doubles victories, including eight in dual matches ... Began spring ranked 51st in doubles with Staniak ... Battled injuries to his right wrist and knee throughout the year.

Highest ranked American junior to sign with Middle Tennessee.

Fall
In first collegiate tournament, won MT Fall Invitational doubles title with Mark Pellerin ... Primarily played doubles as he continued to recover from his fourth knee surgery, posting 5-2 record ... Played in just two tournaments in singles, posting 5-2 mark, including semifinal appearance at Chattanooga Fall Classic.

Spring
Had seven wins in singles in spring, including two straight in Sun Belt Tournament in Mobile, Ala. ... Posted nine wins in doubles play, six with Pellerin.
