2003: Played in all 12 games and started 11 times ... Ended the year with a career-best 27 receptions to rank second on the team ... Also had three touchdowns ... Registered two receptions for 19 yards against FAU, then came back with a three-catch performance at Georgia ... Made his first career touchdown reception at Missouri and finished with a personal best four catches ... Snared two receptions against Temple and Troy State, and had three grabs at Idaho ... Collected four catches and two touchdowns against Louisiana-Lafayette ... Had a career-best five catches for 98 yards in the season finale win over Arkansas State, including a personal long 57-yard grab.

2002: Had a career-best 10 receptions for 157 yards on the season ... Played in 11 games and started the last six in a row ... Missed the SEMO game due to an ankle injury ... Reeled in two catches each in back-to-back games against Vanderbilt and Louisiana-Lafayette ... Collected a career-long 39-yard reception against Kentucky ... Hauled in his first career reception in the season opener at Alabama on a 37-yard strike from tailback ReShard Lee ... Had a total of four rushes for 15 yards and a touchdown ... His rushing touchdown came on an eight-yard run against North Texas.

2001: Started the first five games of the season at right corner and played in a total of six contests ... Did not compete in the final five games of the year ... Finished the year with 13 total tackles (10 solos), including one for loss of yards and an interception ... His lone pick came against Louisiana-Lafayette and he returned it six yards ... Had a personal best four tackles in back-to-back weeks against Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana-Lafayette (TFL came against ULL) ... Registered pass breakups against ULL and Idaho.

2000: Was moved to receiver after about a week working with the defensive backs ... Played in all 11 games (mainly on special teams), including one as a starter against UConn ... Was also the team's kickoff return man where he led the team with 15 returns for 292 yards ... Had three returns for 70 yards in a win over Louisiana Tech

High School: The two-time all-state selection led the Oakland Patriots to a 28-11 record over three years, including a 5A State Championship in 1998 and a semifinal appearance in 1999 ... As a senior he rushed for 484 yards and threw for 713 yards and nine touchdowns, while collecting eight interceptions and returning three for scores ... As a junior, Alsup hauled in 44 receptions for 952 yards and eight touchdowns, and recorded 23 catches for 295 yards as a sophomore ... Named the TSWA All-State athlete in 1999, while being tabbed Associated Press All-State as a receiver and a defensive back in 1998 ... Was also a three-time Daily News Journal All-County selection and two-time All-Region 4-5A pick ... Voted to the 5A All-Midstate first team as an athlete by The Tennessean in 1999 ... Was named to The Tennessean's 1999 Defensive Dream Team.
