MT students to produce TV games for ESPN

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Mass Communication students from Middle Tennessee State University will step on the national stage of collegiate athletics this weekend when they will produce, direct and provide on-field talent for a live telecast of the MTSU-Florida International football game on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm. It will air on both ESPN 360 and ESPN GamePlan.

DeFatta announced as candidate for Ray Guy award

Augusta, GA - The Augusta Sports Council announced today the candidates for the 2009 Ray Guy Award, which identifies the nation's top collegiate punter, and Middle Tennessee's David DeFatta is among the 42 players who made the list. The 42 will be narrowed to ten semi-finalists that will be named on November 13.
