Blue Raiders fifth overall
ARDMORE, Okla. - Under normal scoring circumstances, Middle Tennessee's 17-under 823 would have likely been good enough to win an event, or at least be in the hunt. Scoring at the 17th annual Perry Maxwell Intercollegiate, however, is unique and the Blue Raiders' sizzling three-round total under this format was good enough for fifth in their final tune-up before the NCAA East Regional Thursday through Saturday in Chattanooga.

Team lands East Regional bid for second time in program history
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Days of anxiety quickly ended for the Middle Tennessee men's golf team when it was awarded an at-large berth into the NCAA East Regional at Council Golf Club in Chattanooga Monday afternoon. Middle Tennessee's spot among the nation's top 81 teams was solidified four minutes into the Men's Golf Selection Committee's Conference Call.

Cochran tied for fifth entering final round
MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - Middle Tennessee did its part by turning in a solid score in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference men's golf championships here Tuesday but the Blue Raiders' 4-under 284 was not enough to narrow the gap against a Denver team that shot 8-under on day two on the Fighting Joe Course at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals.

Narramore leads team at 1-under
MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - Middle Tennessee is in a familiar position after the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championships on the Fighting Joe Course at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals. The position may be familiar but it is not one the Blue Raiders had envisioned. Middle Tennessee is in seventh place, 13 shots behind defending champion Louisiana-Lafayette entering Tuesday's second round.
