MT opens SBC Tournament against FIU at 12:30 PM Wednesday
TROY, Ala. - Outfielder Corrie Abel was named to the Sun Belt All-Conference second-team as announced by the league office on Tuesday. The Sophomore finished the regular season ranked sixth in the conference with a .377 batting average in 162 appearances at the plate. She will be honored with the rest of the selections at the pre-tournament banquet at 7 PM Tuesday.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee surrendered an early lead but powered ahead with a Justine Cerda three-run homerun as the Blue Raiders (22-29, 11-12) clinched a series victory over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (26-28, 8-15) by winning 6-3 Saturday at Blue Raider Field.
