Track teams open outdoor competition
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Brittany Cox set a new Middle Tennessee record in the hammer throw with a toss of 178-11(54.54m) placing second in the event as the Blue Raider track and field teams opened outdoor competition at the 2010 Rhodes Open Meet on Saturday.

Senior to compete in shot put and weight throw
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Middle Tennessee senior Brittany Cox will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., this weekend to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the shot put and weight throw events in hopes of being the first Blue Raider thrower to earn an All-American title at the Division I level.

Men take fourth
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - It was a weekend of individual highs for the Middle Tennessee track and field teams as five athletes won single events at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Murphy Center. However, in the end the women's team finished second overall with the men's team placing fourth.
