All five starters tally double-figure points
PITTSBURGH - No. 27/24 Middle Tennessee led for 38 minutes but could not close the door as Mississippi State rallied for a 68-64 victory Sunday in NCAA Tournament First Round action at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Dayton Region contest pitted the No. 10 seed Blue Raiders and No. 7 seed Bulldogs.

Blue Raiders honored for 11,802-fan sellout during Tennessee game
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee athletic department was recently recognized as the Sun Belt Conference champion for the NCAA's "Pack the House" Challenge and as one of 33 overall winners. The Blue Raider marketing and promotions department, led by Assistant Athletic Director Brad Smith, spearheaded the effort as Middle Tennessee won the "Pack the House" Challenge for the second time in three years.
